CVE-2020-2144
HIGH7.1EPSS 0.07%XXE vulnerability in Rundeck Plugin
Published: 5/24/2022Modified: 2/16/2024
Description
Rundeck Plugin 3.6.6 and earlier does not configure its XML parser to prevent XML external entity (XXE) attacks. This allows a user with Overall/Read access to have Jenkins parse a crafted HTTP request with XML data that uses external entities for extraction of secrets from the Jenkins controller or server-side request forgery. Rundeck Plugin 3.6.7 disables external entity resolution for its XML parser.
